anyone go to the tanning bed and slather sunscreen on their face to stop the process of creating wrinkles? or maybe cover up your face with a towel? would that really block the rays enough?
i don’t wanna use a self tanner because using that much lotion all over my body in the humid su

mmer weather makes me sweat and i’m always too hot and even though they have made huge advances and it looks a lot more natural than it used to, there is always the problem of when it starts to fade and you look like you have some sort of weird skin disease…lol
and there is also the problem of your wrists and ankles, it never looks just right when using self tanner, i want to get a real tan.

I always wear my make up into the tanning bed (it contains sunscreen) because I don’t want my face to look like a beef jerky. Of course, the down side is that your face isn’t as tan as the rest of you, but as long as you keep make up on, so what? They do make self-tanners that are just for faces – did you know that?
I agree that self-tanners present problems. I have had the best luck with the kind that you spray on just very lightly. I supplement my real tan with them. Once in a while I get a mystic tan, but you’re right that it looks like Michael Jackson’s skin disease after a week or so, lol.

If you use a tanning bed then it most likely won’t give you wrinkles so don’t worry about that. But don’t cover your face with a towel then the rest of your body apart from your face will be tanned. Which may not be a great look.

Whe I tan i usually put spf 15 or 25 on my face, and i still end up getting a little color. i dont know if it prevents wrinkles or not, but it makes me feel better about tanning.

All I can say, is that at 58, the only parts of me that are wrinkled are those that have been continually exposed to the sun.

When you tan…through a cloth over your face to block the rays. Your face will obviously be lighter because of this but you can always blend with a darker foundation. Your face will thank you in 10yrs!!

Aww, how vain you are. Poor little girl.
She wants to be tan, but it might make wrinkles!
It’s a dilema to rival Hamlet!
