I’ve heard that nothing will help, but I’d rather give it a try than not try at all. I’m petite so I’m worried about getting stretch marks because the further along I am, the bigger I get (obviously). Is there any preventions you’d recommend? I’ve heard of coco butter, plain ol’ vitamin E…

I use this stuff called BioOil (found at your local CVS). It’s been great for my skin so far!
I use to use Cocoa Butter but felt it to be “cakey” and “thick”. BioOil is very lightweight and smells good too!

I have heard of some basic stuff like moisturizing and taking vitamin E tablets…BUT, the truth is that stretch marks happen on the inside. No amount of external products are going to change the internal workings.
Check with the females in your family (those linked to you genetically)…and see how their stretch marks were during pregnancy. Chances are, you will have a similar outcome.

good luck with that!! if something works be sure to write a book about it so the whole world knows too!!
it all depends on the elasticity of your skin!!!
