I have gained 80lbs in the last 2 years. As a result I have dark purple stretch marks on my back. I have heard of a few products, Bio oil, Mederma, coco butter, I just want to hear from people who had the same problem who got rid of thiers, and what products you used.

Maybe you should worry about your weight rather than the stretch marks, but thats my opinion.

For the products you named to be effective, they need to be used while the marks are forming. Then, they allow the skin to expand without the stretch marks. Once the marks are there, they are not much affected by those products. There IS something out there that will work. It is a cream also used in burn therapy. but I cannot remember the name.
As for the individual who cranked on your weight gain, he shows his lack of class and compassion. Ignore him.
Vitamin E Oil
Honestly, the best fix…see a dermatologist. Over the counter products from the drug store might give you slight results, but it’s gonna cost a lot of money and a very dedicated daily routine. You could see a dermatologist for more noticeable stretch mark reductions. With your darker skin tone, it may be a little more difficult to see a big change, as lighter skin tones tend to respond “better,” only because darker skin tones tend to remain dark, while lighter tones tend to be easier to fade away. I’m not a doctor, and I think you can find some useful tips from a professional. Many times dermatologists offer free consultations. I’ve heard many great tips from pregnant women with use of Vitamin E oil. Best wishes.
stretch marks are scars. you can’t get rid of scars so you can’t get rid of stretch marks. unless you want to pay for expensive laser removal but they still won’t entirely gone. stretch marks result in gaining weight too quickly.
