Eat vegetables and fruits that are rich in vitamin E. Include a multivitamin with iron tablet in your diet. Eat at least one green leafy vegetable a day. Check out http://useinfo-darkcircles.blogspot.com/ for more info.

great question. But i think that there is no chemically created product to "delete" those pesky lines. even if you wasted a big sum of money.

Hey,
Sorry I have heard it's hereditary and there is no product available that can get rid of it. I have them too and I have wasted many years trying to get rid of and/or cover it. No luck so far...............

Any product with vitamin K can help, but never completely get rid of dark circles. You can also put vitamin k directly onto the area. Go to Nordstroms or Sephora and ask they will give you several choices. Hylexin is a good one.

If it is a genetic thing than perhaps your skull structure means you have deep set eyes which can often give the illusion of darker than normal eye bags.
Using anti aging creams will help keeps the skin taut and will lesson the appears of the bags. You'll have to figure out for yourself which works for you. They, like all beauty creams are effected by your skins natural pH so one might work where another might not.
Getting a tan can help reduces their appearance also. Just watch out for the dreaded melanoma (skin cancer! aaarrrggghhh!!)
If all else fails you can become a goth/ emo. Or use make up to make it look you you have two black eyes and tell everyone your dad beats you...

I too have the dreaded dark circles --- so does my mom, my grandma, my aunts...we all do.
As far as I know, there really isn't anything to make them go away. It's just thin almost-translucent skin and the dark is just the blood vessels (i think that's what it is anyway!)
Good skin cream can keep the skin under the eyes healthy and that means that the look of the dark circles can be less noticeable. I've tried everything to make them go away, and I just think that nothing out there exists and really works. A lot of sleep and drinking lots and lots of water does help though. My circles do get darker when I'm dehydrated and/or tired.
If you're having a problem covering them up with your daily makeup, I HIGHLY recommend Dermablend. It's hard to find, used to be available at JC Penny but it seems like they are slowly weeding it out. You can buy it online though. This is the ONLY product that covers my moms circles and she has tried every makeup product and concealer known to man from every possible brand.
