I’m trying to get rid of my ugly red stretch marks on the top of my thighs, and have heard of different creams, can anyone who has had experience of testing them tell me which is best/ worked well for them?
There’s..
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter
Bio-Oil
Vitamin E Lotion
Decleor Tonastil Firming Stretch Mark Lotion
or do you know of any other relatively cheap options?
Thanks

mederma. It gets rid of scars. You should use cocoa butter when you are pregnant to help the skin stretch. You shouldn’t get stretch marks is you use it before hand. But it you already have them use MEDERMA
bio oil.. is fanastic. i have lots on top of my legs and bum and belly.. they have faded so much since using this.
i have tried using many products like cocoa butter and no difference until using bio oil
they never really go away im afraid. short of surgery, yu stuck with your baby stripes!! ive used bio oil and i swear by it. its drastically reduced mine. they much lighter, and not that noticable. i think all all of the products mentioned would help. but try bio oil!
It’s expensive, but I heard that RENAISSANCE works the best. It’s like $135 & I heard it does wonders. Or the $10 Nature’s Beauty Bar.
i have got loads of stretch marks and using johnsons holiday cream seems to have made them look less visible,or use a fake tan i find when i have a tan they barely show

There are several treatment options for stretch marks. The degree of success with any treatment will be impacted by your age, your skin tone and even your diet. Treatment options include:
Surgical methods. Dermabrasion, chemical peels, or laser surgery can be used to address unwanted stretch marks.
Lotions and creams. Over-the-counter stretch mark treatments are available.
Diet and exercise. Drink plenty of water. Adequate hydration keeps your skin soft and less likely to develop stretch marks. Caffeine can increase your risk of stretch marks. If you’re stuck on your caffeinated coffee or tea, make sure you balance the fluids. Drink just as much — or more — water as you drink coffee, tea or soda. Stretch marks can also result from nutritional deficiency. Be sure to consume foods that promote skin health: foods rich in zinc, such as nuts or fish; Foods high in vitamins A and C, such as carrots and citrus fruits and milk; Protein-rich foods, such as eggs.
It’s best to be in the care of a surgeon or dermatologist. He or she can determine which treatment approach is best for you.
i am 48 and have 7 children right from the firs i have had terrible marks and nothing will get rid
i have herd that you can have plastic surgery but i think its best to rub olive oil on as soon as you find out that our pregnant
that’s what my aunt told me but it was a bit late for that
I’ve never tried them, but I’ve heard that bio-oil is meant to be good.
bio oil helped me reduce the appearance of my s/mkz after my pregnancy
Sorry, but they NEVER really go away. They fade and do get smaller.
there is no way you can get rid of stretch marks I’m afraid not unless you go for cosmic surgery same for all these creams to make you look younger none work might make everthing soft but nothing else
Removal of stretch marks is the most effective when they are just formed, i.e. when they are reddish in color. Dermatologists recommend various treatments for the marks, but their removal is very difficult once the marks fade. Although, one can use Olive oils, Coconut butter or Vitamin E or Vitamin A for massaging over the marks. Aloe Vera Gel soothes irritating skin which has been recently stretched. For an effective prevention of stretch marks, exercising is the best bet, as it keeps the muscles and skin firm. Also eating foods, which are rich in proteins, Vitamin C and E help in promoting and maintaining healthy skin.
