I doesn’t really matter, to be honest. Most face washes that advertise themselves as preventing zits have harsh chemicals that actually aren’t that good for your skin. The fact is, in spite of beauty advertisers’ claims to the contrary, there is no “magic” face wash that will prevent zits. (Though the very act of washing your face, probably about two times a day, will of course help keep your skin clean and may thus reduce zits.)
I use Neutrogena On-the-Spot acne treatment when I feel a zit coming on and it works like a charm. Just put it on the spot, not all over your face where you don’t need it – and it’s not too expensive.
Since your skin is dry, and most useful face washes and acne products have Salicylic Acid in them, which dries out pores and pimples, you should get an Aveno or Olay moisturizer, which will balance that out, and won’t clog pores. It’s also pretty cheap, like 3 or 4 dollars! My favorite face wash is the Neutrogena Acne Wash that smells like grapefruits! It feels dry afterwards, but that’s why I use Aveno Positively Radiant, which also helps my skin as a sunscreen. And my skin is really nice and smooth AND clear. And I only spent about 8 bucks altogether!
well the only thing that is good for sensitive skin is avene. Plus washing your face with face wash isn’t too good. just go natural. If you need to remove make up you should use avene make up remover but it can be pricey. I find the more stuff I put on my face, the worse it gets and I don’t really have pimples but sometimes I do.
go to http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com and see what face washes they have there, they are ranked based ono chemical components that are unsafe for your health which would obviously irritate your face as well.
My skin is scaly at times also, I use Oil of Olay foaming face wash and once my is face dry I use nivea moisturizing cream. Oil of Olay is not cheap, but nivea is. If you are concerned about wrinkles one thing is suggest is decrease your amount of sun exposure and always use a moisturizer with SPF 15 or higher.
Try and get Dr. Nick Lowe face wash. It’s a white bottle and you squeeze a little foam into your hand and massage it in and rinse with water. It’s amazing. It costs about £10/$17 but lasts a while.
By the way, DON’T use any soaps or products that contain alcohol because it leads to initial dryness then leads to a sudden phase of oily skin which increases chances of spots.
1. get a black head scrub like nuetrogena or clear and clean
2. get a gentel cleanser like cetaphil
3. get spot treatment (neutorgena or clear and clean)
4. get a mosturizer thats oil free i would recomened clear and clean for that
oh and btw ur not gonna find all of that with one mosturizer u need sevral but dont worry these are all pretty cheap under five bucks each and they really make a diffrence
No, OXY Is NOT the answer. At the moment your skin is very raw. Go To Body Shop (UK) && Get –
Aloe Gentle Exfoliator – £7.30
Warming Mineral Mask – £7.30
Aloe Gentle Facial Wash – £6.35
I Use The Facial Wash After I take My Makeup Off… && Then Splash Water Over My Skin.
In The Morning I Use The Aloe Gentle Exfoliator. Then The Warming Mineral Mask Every 2 – 3 days. In The Morning Or Evening.XX
Hope This Helps!!
I have oily skin. I have mild acne that gets worse during my period. I use Clean & Clear Exfoliating Cleanser. It scrubs away the top layer of skin to make way for the fresh, clean skin underneath. It also clears my pores and helps get rid of/prevent quite a bit of acne. It’s also really cheap, I got some more at the drugstore yesterday (2 for $9 deal!)
I use a facial cleanser by clean and clear. It has a slight yellow color to it. And it works GREAT! It helps with acne a little but its mainly for oily skin, and your pores. You can also use it to wash after wearing make-up.
You should use Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser because it uncloggs your pores and clogged pores lead to acne. Also, when you use it, your face feels so clean and fresh. Here’s where you can get it.
i have a perfect home remedy for you:
1/4 cup antifreeze (evens skin tone &shrinks pores)
tsp bleach (prevents wrinkles)
mix in some salt to exfoliate
that is hard to answer…for me neutrogena is the best. but everyone has different kinds of skiin so it may not work on you particularly..if i were u i would go to a dermatologist for the best one for ur skin. good luck!
Gentle face scrub, never, never dry your face with a towel. Check with specialist if no improvement. Fruits and veggies will help, consider juicing.
The Wave or other Neutrogena products. They work magic
Either the Wave or Neutrogena(sp?) Pink Grapefruit series. They both work.
I use Cetaphil; it works pretty well.
use soap!!!!! jk idk use like proactive or something like that
use dove the bar of soap
Ambi complexion clearing bar. I worked for me, it’s only like $2
OXY OXY OXy!! try it, i used it and it helps a lot:)
clean & clear the wave does not work it makes u breakout
I have a solution for you! I have your problem.
My skin will be dry/oily, and once in a while they like to pop up.
Proactiv and the others might be great, but my solution is natural and cheap.
You skin care routine should be to exfoliate and wash your face in the morning and at night. That will prevent oil and dead skin buildup for sure! And after you dry your face off apply a special face lotion to keep your skin silky.
The products that I use are cheap, natural, and effective.
For a good face lotion, I use products from the Clean and Clear “soft” line. I have two of the lotions:
(buy at drugstores) The “Day” lotion which has an SPF sunscreen in it, and a “Night” lotion which is slightly heavier and more moisturizing.
These lotions are sold seperately, about $8 each.http://www.makeupandbeautyblog.com/wp-co…
Now, for the facial scrub: I use St. Ive’s Apricot scrub for my face before washing it. About $4, it is a yummy smelling natural scrub you rub on your face.http://seattlegirlsguide.files.wordpress…
Finally, the cleanser is by Burt’s Bees.
It is an all natural, cool-tingly cleanser that you can also buy sat drugstores for about $8.http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.j…
It SEEMS like alot, but for me it is simple.
I cleanse with the scrub, use the Burt’s Bee’s cleanser, and then put on the light face lotion.
If a pimple happens to pop up, THE BEST spot treatment to use is the Clean and Clear Advantage spot treatment, about $7. You just put a tiny bit of the clear gel on the spot, and the redness goes away.http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.j…
I totally wish you luck, because this easy and natural scrub-cleanse-moisturize thing works great for my skin!
Maybe I helped =)
